Our 16-hour women’s concealed carry class is led by expert instructors who understand women’s needs and perspectives on self-defense. You’ll gain comprehensive knowledge on firearm safety, handling, shooting skills, and legal aspects of concealed carry. Course Overview:
Our intensive 16-hour curriculum is thoughtfully structured to ensure you gain a solid foundation in essential firearm topics.
What to Expect
Here’s what you can expect to learn during our class:
- NRA Basic Pistol – 8 hours
- Concealed Carry Act, State and Federal Laws & Use of Force – 4 hours
- Firearms Handling & Training – 4 hours
If any student already has a Concealed Carry and/or Safety Courses from the following States: Illinois, Utah, Florida, Nevada, Missouri, Kentucky, Michigan and Chicago, 4 Hours maybe applied towards the 16 Hours. If any student has any previous Firearm Training Certification, present it to the instructor for possible additional credit towards a ICCL Certification.
Things You Need for Class
- 50 rounds of ammunition for the firearm that you bring
- Rigid Belt and Holster for your firearm
- Paper, Pen or Pencil
- Driver’s License or State ID
- FOID Card if you have one (you don’t need one to take the class)
- You can rent a firearm and buy ammunition at the range if you don’t have one
- A FOID Card is not required in class
- Please note: NO LIVE ammunition in the classroom!

Upon completing our 16-hour Illinois Concealed Carry Class, you’ll receive not one, but two prestigious certifications:
- NRA Basic Pistol Certification: This nationally recognized certification from the National Rifle Association (NRA) attests to your proficiency in pistol basics. It’s a testament to your dedication to safe and responsible firearm ownership.
- Illinois Concealed Carry License, Firearm Training: Our class satisfies the training requirements for the Illinois Concealed Carry License. This certification opens the door to legally carrying your concealed firearm, backed by the knowledge and skills you’ve gained.
