We understand that responsible firearm ownership requires more than meeting basic requirements. Our focus is on helping you build the knowledge, safety practices, and defensive skills needed to confidently and responsibly exercise your rights, to “Bear Arms”. Through thoughtful instruction and practical training, we aim to prepare every student with the mindset and abilities required for safe, effective firearm use.

Credit for Prior Training
Students who have successfully completed approved conceal carry or safety courses from Illinois, Utah, Florida, Nevada, Missouri, Kentucky, or Michigan may receive 4-hours of credit towards the Illinois Conceal Carry16-hour requirement.

What You Need for Class
Please bring the following items with you:
– 50 Rounds of ammunition for the firearm you plan to use
– A rigid belt and holster for your firearm (for training only)
– Paper and writing materials
– Driver’s License or State Identification
– FOID (Firearm Owner’s Identification Card) Card, not required for class attendance. However, if available, bring it to class.

Firearm rentals and ammunition purchases are available at the range if you do not have your own equipment.

Important: No live ammunition is permitted in the classroom at any time.

Live Fire Qualification
Students must complete a 30-round live-fire qualification as part of the Illinois State Police training requirement. Your instructor will guide you through the course of fire and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
