Christopher Harrington is a native of Southern Illinois Carbondale. Chris has 26 years of Law Enforcement experience with the Illinois Department of Corrections as a Tactical Officer, Senior Parole Agent, department instructor and cross training with Homeland Security and much more. He is a certified law enforcement, firearms, security, and active shooter instructor. Christopher has been the CEO of HBT Security Group Inc for more than 14 years.
Co-Founder, CFO
Leslie C. Turner Jr is the co-founder, Chief Finance Officer & firearms instructor for HBT Security Group, Inc. Leslie training and experience extends well beyond 20 years in the law enforcement community. Leslie has extensive knowledge of criminal law and experience with criminal & administrative investigations to include homicides, vehicle hijackings, and a host of violent crimes committed against humanity. Leslie’s joy is sharing the knowledge he has acquired with others.

William Bollinger is a Southern Illinois native by way of Cape Girardeau Missouri. William is a certified NRA and USCCA firearms instructor and licensed security professional with 20 years of firearms experience.
Northern Illinois Region Instructors
Steven D. Jones is a retired Correctional Officer and Hostage Negotiator with over 31 years of experience in Crisis Management and Conflict Resolution. With expertise in Verbal Judo and communication, Steven has successfully managed numerous high-stakes situations to ensure safety and peaceful outcomes. He is also a Certified Concealed Carry Firearms Instructor, specializing in firearms safety, handling, and marksmanship for both beginners and experienced shooters. Steven is dedicated to empowering individuals with the skills and confidence needed to handle critical situations.
Northern Illinois Region Instructors
Bryan Kastelic is a law enforcement instructor who joined HBT Security Group in 2025. He served 10 years in the US Army Infantry before joining the Brown County Sheriff’s Department in 1996, where he worked as a Patrol Officer, Narcotics Investigator, DARE/GREAT Instructor, and member of the Emergency Response Unit. In 2006, Bryan joined DCI as a Narcotics Special Agent, serving with the Milwaukee Field Office and North Central HIDTA/DEA Task Force 63. From 2007 to 2022, he served on the WI Joint Tactical Team as a sniper team leader, instructor, and team commander. He retired in 2023 after serving as the Native American Drug & Gang Initiative (NADGI) Task Force Commander.
Southern Illinois Region Instructor
Goldie Robinson is a native of Southern Illinois with over 18 years of firearms experience. He was a uniformed Community Service Officer with Carbondale Police Dept. for over three years. He is an active NRA and USCCA instructor, authorized to teach in Illinois, and a licensed security professional.
