Christopher Harrington is a native of Southern Illinois Carbondale. Chris has 25 years of Law Enforcement experience with the Illinois Department of Corrections as a Tactical Officer, Senior Parole Agent, department instructor and cross training with Homeland Security and much more. He is a certified law enforcement, firearms, security, and active shooter instructor.

Leslie Turner, Jr.
Leslie C. Turner Jr is the co-founder, Chief Finance Officer & firearms instructor for HBT Security Group, Inc. Leslie training and experience extends well beyond 20yrs in the law enforcement community. Leslie has extensive knowledge of criminal law and experience with criminal & administrative investigations to include homicides, vehicle hijackings, and a host of violent crimes committed against humanity. Leslie’s joy is sharing the knowledge he has acquired with others.

Arthur Schlosser
Arthur Schlosser is a 25 year veteran of the Illinois Dept of Corrections and Juvenile Justice. Art has held the positions of Corrections Officer, Intelligence Cooridnator, Facility Investigator, Shift Supervisor, Facility Chief of Security and Department Training Manager. Art is a 6 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served as an infantryman. Art was deployed in a combat role during Operation Desert Storm in 1990-1991. Art is currently a certified firearms trainer, licensed to train in Illinois, through both the NRA and USCCA.

Dustin is a Waverly Illinois native. A USCCA Certified Instructor, Illinois Department of Natural Resources Hunter Safety Education Instructor and coaches shooting teams. Dustin teaches Illinois Conncealed Carry, Handgun Fundamentals, First-aid Fundamentals, Youth Firearms Safety and Fundamentals, and Women’s Self Defense and Handgun Fundamentals
Jay DeWitt
Jay DeWitt is a native of central Illinois. Jay began his career in Law Enforcement in 1986 with a local municipality and extended that role to other local Police Departments. Jay retired from Police duties in 2021. Simultaneously, Jay started with the Illinois Department of Corrections in 1992 at Joliet Correctional Center,1995 Pontiac Correctional Center, and in 1997, Jacksonville Correctional Center, retiring from the department in 2015 as a Major. Jay is an Illinois Training and Standards Board-certified Range Instructor, proficient in Police tactics and weapons. Jay is a Hostage Negotiator, Mobile Training Unit instructor, Homicide Investigator, and Use of Force Instructor. Jay retired in 2021 and is currently a Security Consultant, Firearms courses instructor, PERC, and IDFR certification.
